On July 31, 2025, DJI JAPAN Co., Ltd. unveiled its first-ever 360° camera, the 'Osmo 360.' As the latest model in the Osmo series, it supports 8K/50fps 360° video recording, setting a new benchmark for action cameras and 360° cameras.
Achieving High-Quality Imaging with a 1-Inch Square HDR Sensor
The Osmo 360 features a newly developed 1-inch square HDR image sensor, which improves sensor utilization by 25% while maintaining the same field of view as conventional 1-inch rectangular sensors. This innovation ensures superior image quality and performance.
It supports 8K/50fps and 8K/30fps 360° video recording, with the latter enabling up to 100 minutes of continuous shooting—the longest in the industry. Additionally, its F1.9 large-aperture lens and 2.4μm large pixels deliver clear footage even in low-light conditions.
120MP Still Photography and Action Camera Capabilities
The Osmo 360 allows for ultra-high-resolution 120MP (120 million pixels) 360° still photography. In single-lens mode, it can record 5K/60fps wide-angle videos with a 155° field of view or 4K/120fps videos in 170° Boost Mode, serving as both a 360° camera and an action camera in one device.
Intuitive Controls and Advanced Shooting Assistance Features
The Osmo 360 supports gesture and voice controls for hands-free shooting. Its HorizonSteady feature maintains a level horizon even during 360° rotations, while RockSteady 3.0 provides powerful stabilization in single-lens mode.
Additional features include an invisible selfie stick and intelligent tracking, offering a wide range of shooting assistance options.
Rugged Design for Extreme Environments
Weighing only 183g, the compact body of the Osmo 360 includes 105GB of usable internal storage and can operate for over 1.5 hours in temperatures as low as -20°C. With IP68-rated waterproofing, it is reliable for outdoor and action-packed scenarios.
