Evolution True to the Essence of GR

Since the GR1 in 1996 and the GR DIGITAL in 2005, the GR series has consistently focused on the 'essence of photography.'

With the GR IV, a newly designed sensor, image processing engine, and revamped lens configuration ensure even higher image quality while maintaining the GR identity. It captures the fleeting moments of everyday life with unparalleled conviction.

Expanding Horizons with a New App and HDF Model

The GR IV significantly enhances the post-shooting experience through integration with the newly developed smartphone app 'GR WORLD.' This app improves usability and convenience, catering to the photo-sharing era of social media.

Additionally, a model equipped with an HDF (Highlight Diffusion Filter) is under development. This filter uniquely captures light diffusion and atmosphere, enabling a new approach to image creation.

The End of GR III and the Arrival of GR IV

Production of the GR III will conclude with the July 2025 shipments, making way for the GR IV as the next-generation flagship. Scheduled for release in Fall 2025, the HDF model is expected to follow in winter. Combining the pride of a snapshot shooter with innovation, the GR IV is set to become a symbol of the future of photographic expression.
