Delivering the latest news in the camera industry, 'News'. Shoten Kogyo Co., Ltd. has announced the SHOTEN brand mount adapter 'SCM2'. The release date is June 21, 2024. The suggested retail price is 12,000 yen (including tax).

SHOTEN has released a mount adapter for converting old Contax C and Nikon S mount external bayonet lenses to Leica M mount. Made of brass, it offers high durability and rigidity, weighing approximately 40g.

While it does not include a focus adjustment mechanism or rangefinder coupling, it can be used with helicoid adapters or autofocus adapters for M mount lenses to enable focus adjustment. The interior of the adapter is flocked to control internal reflections. Note that lenses with protruding rear elements may interfere with the camera body and cannot be used.

A set sale with the internal bayonet lens mount adapter 'SCM1' is available exclusively on the direct sales site. The direct sales price is 21,800 yen (including tax), saving 1,600 yen compared to purchasing separately.
The SCM1 adapter also uses high-quality materials and can convert old Contax C and Nikon S mount internal bayonet lenses to Leica M mount.
