Ricoh Imaging has announced the supply status of the film compact camera 'PENTAX 17'. The announcement date is June 19, 2024. The number of pre-orders far exceeded initial expectations, and it is expected to take time to supply the product.

The New Film Camera 'PENTAX 17'
The 'PENTAX 17' is a new film camera adopting a half-size format. It has been productized about a year and a half after the project announcement in December 2022. It also features mechanisms for 'enjoying camera operations' such as a manual winding lever and exposure compensation dial. It targets beginners and young people who want to start with film cameras. The suggested retail price is 117,700 yen (including tax).
