A Unique Perspective Captured as a Miniature Universe
People do not appear in architectural photography. It almost feels as if architectural photography deliberately avoids human presence. Buildings present themselves to us in their completed form, leaving no room for people to intervene. Their robust and unyielding presence is reminiscent of the cosmos itself. Architecture is a miniature universe. If so, by measuring the various distances between ourselves and architecture, we can return to the origins of society, nature, and art. In architectural photography, the photographer’s perspective is most vividly rendered.
