DJI JAPAN Co., Ltd. has announced the new Osmo Action 4, an action camera designed as the ultimate companion for adventure seekers. Available from August 2, 2023, the "Standard Combo," which includes one battery and a protective frame, is priced at 58,300 JPY (tax included), while the "Adventure Combo," featuring three batteries and a multifunctional battery case, is available for 75,900 JPY (tax included).

From Everyday Moments to the Outdoors: Vivid Imaging in Any Environment
This action camera is equipped with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor. It offers waterproof performance up to 18 meters without a case and is engineered to withstand harsh environments. The battery is cold-resistant and provides up to 160 minutes of continuous operation.
With features such as magnetic quick release, native vertical shooting (with protective frame), 4K/120fps slow-motion recording, a 155° ultra-wide FOV, and a range of advanced shooting capabilities, it is suited for everything from daily life to sports. The sensor size surpasses not only the previous Osmo Action 3 (1/1.7-inch) but also the GoPro Hero 11 Black (1/1.9-inch), offering a significantly larger imaging area.

Additionally, the inclusion of a color temperature sensor enables highly accurate color reproduction in a variety of settings, including indoors, outdoors, and underwater. The 10-bit D-Log M color mode further expands creative color expression. The camera is equipped with a 1,770mAh Extreme Battery, capable of recording for up to 160 minutes. Fast charging is supported, allowing up to 80% charge in just 18 minutes. Moreover, it can shoot for up to 150 minutes even in temperatures as low as -20°C.
