You may recall the recent news of an AI-generated image winning an award at a prestigious international photography contest. This sparked wide-ranging discussions about the relationship between AI and photographers, as well as the necessity of dedicated contests for AI-generated images.
In response to the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) capable of instantly producing remarkable images, Nikon Peru launched the “Natural Intelligence” advertising campaign, which has become a topic of conversation in the industry.

Co-creation Between AI and Humans
The ability to generate images more quickly and affordably than ever before through AI is already impacting many photographers and the photography industry at large. Through this campaign, Nikon has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the value of photographers and their creative works.
“Nikon has a significant commitment to photographers worldwide, allowing us to enjoy the most beautiful and outstanding works thanks to their talent and artistry. That’s why it was so important for us as a brand to take the initiative in supporting them,” says Charlie Tormos, CCO of Circus Grey Peru.
This campaign in Peru has helped to widely promote the concept of ‘Natural Intelligence,’ receiving incredibly positive feedback.
Don’t give up on the real world!
