Summer landscapes always seem to hold a sense of movement.
Waves rolling in and receding, light reflected on the water, curtains stirring in the breeze, the atmosphere at dusk, and the distant sound of the sea. Waves belong not only to the ocean; they also ripple quietly through light and shadow, emotion and memory.
With this in mind, we are launching a hashtag campaign featuring #wave!

Waves create rhythm within a photograph.
Waves breaking along the shore, the surfaces of lakes and rivers, light shimmering in a pool, plants swaying in the wind, and recurring shadows and forms throughout the city. Beyond visible waves, the tremor of the summer air and the lingering resonance of memory can also be explored through the theme of #wave.
All genres are welcome, from landscapes and street photography to portraits and travel photographs. Capture your own vision of “what moves summer” through photography.

Photographs of waves capture the passage of time: a water’s surface changing from moment to moment, the sea scattering light, and plants moving as they are carried by the wind. Even within a landscape that appears still, a closer look reveals subtle motion—and these fluctuations lend depth to the photograph.
