In photography, stillness speaks of what cannot be seen.
Unspoken negative space, time spent alone, a room after someone has left, the lingering atmosphere of a city at dawn or after dark. Precisely because sound is subdued, light and shadow, temperature, and spatial distance can sometimes be felt with greater intensity.
Landscapes, portraits, street photography, interiors, or a single frame from your travels—all genres are welcome. Capture a moment in which you felt a sense of “stillness.”
