‘Find C’ Award Announcement | Challenge #36

‘Find C’ is a global photography contest curated by cizucu, open to all creators. Through cizucu’s contests, outstanding works are curated from the submissions, with the aim of discovering new talent as a platform and supporting the community as a whole.

This time, we present a selection of submissions and announce the awarded works from the ‘Find C’ contest, which invited participants to discover the letter ‘C’ hidden throughout the city.

I was both surprised and moved by this imaginative approach. The small, rounded hand of a child, still soft and uncalloused, holds infinite potential for future experiences. The child’s hand, widely opened to grasp two wires, sparks curiosity about what lies beyond—though the face is not visible, one can sense the child’s fascination with the world ahead. The child is likely unaware that their hand forms a ‘C’, entirely absorbed in the moment. This image evokes the excitement of the child, the gentle smile of the parent, and the preciousness of the scene—so profound that words can hardly do it justice.

A shift in perspective can dramatically change how we perceive the world. How did you enjoy the series, which encourages us to discover ‘what’s uniquely interesting to us’ through new ways of seeing?

This contest, themed around the ‘C’ of cizucu, brought together a fascinating array of photographs capturing ‘C’ from various angles. From diverse fonts to segments of circles and objects that coincidentally resemble a ‘C’, the freedom of interpretation allowed each photographer’s originality and sensibility to shine.
