“Summer Jam” is a global photo contest organized by cizucu, open to all creators. Through cizucu’s contests, outstanding works are curated from the submissions, with the aim of discovering new talent as a platform and supporting the community as a whole.
This time, we present a selection of submissions and award-winning works from the “Summer Jam” contest, held under the theme of ‘Summer’.

Summer means festivals, festivals mean Bon Odori, and Bon Odori means Awa Odori. This shot captures a scene from the centuries-old entertainment of Awa Odori. You can almost hear the sounds of the festival instruments coming through the image.

This photograph captures three people diving into an emerald green lake. We have selected this exuberant depiction of summer as the awarded work. There’s a well-worn phrase, “It’s all because of summer,” but perhaps summer truly is to blame for letting us immerse ourselves in play without a care for the consequences. By the way, they’re jumping from quite a height… Let’s hope the reason for missing work isn’t an injury!
