cizucu Presents 'Find C' | Challenge #24

Let’s try a quick exercise: silently repeat “red… red… red…” in your mind and close your eyes for five seconds.
When you open your eyes and look around, you’ll notice red objects suddenly stand out.

Approaching daily life with a fresh perspective allows you to notice things you’d usually overlook. Sometimes, these discoveries spark creative inspiration.

With this in mind, we are launching a new series, <Find>, dedicated to discovering our own unique perspectives. The inspiration for the Find series came from the contest ‘Mysterious Streetscape’, which focused on found objects in the city.

After launching this contest, I found myself wandering the city, scanning for lost items. By intentionally seeking out what is usually ignored, I discovered new layers of intrigue.

It was a memorable experience to witness how a contest could shift my perception of the world.

Mission

The typography embedded in our surroundings—shop signs, café menus, and more—inevitably reflects the spirit of their era. For example, here’s a submission from the previous contest ‘Time Traveler’.

This time, your mission is to discover the letter ‘C’ hidden in the city and capture it in a photograph! We aim to create a unique contest that invites you to deduce the era and context behind each distinctive letterform.

Why the letter ‘C’, you ask?

Because ‘C’ is the initial of cizucu! 😉
