cizucu Presents 'Beyond the Tracks' | Challenge #20

Beyond the Tracks

‘Beyond the Tracks’ is a global online photography contest curated by cizucu, open to all creators registered on cizucu. Outstanding submissions will be curated, aiming to discover new talent through the platform and foster support within the community.

This edition’s theme is Railways.

Railways have played an indispensable role in Japan’s modernization and the development of local communities. Throughout their history, railways have deepened ties with communities and become pioneers of new eras. While some lines have been discontinued and become part of history due to depopulation, the traces of the rails remain, creating new value as local landmarks.

We invite submissions that capture the world woven by railways: moments of intersection between people and communities, the impact of railways on daily life, and visions for the future of railways. Through your unique sensibility and perspective, explore the essence and significance of railways, and illuminate their allure in a new light.

Award recipients will be invited to join the cizucu Ambassador account. We look forward to your submissions.
