This orderly world is perceived by us as harmonious beauty. We are unconsciously drawn to things that are structured and regular, often regarding them as "beautiful." Conversely, when that order is disrupted, our gaze is inevitably drawn to the disturbance, which can manifest as visual noise or a sense of discomfort. Yet, many works harness the power of such "disorder," using it as a means of expression or to convey a compelling message. The theme for this Open Call is "Order in Photography." Will you pursue the aesthetics of order, or will you focus on the messages found within disorder? Which perspective resonates more strongly with your artistic vision? Take this opportunity to reflect on whether your photographic works tend to express more of the world's "harmony" or "disharmony."
