Fujifilm Announces the Lightest Standard Zoom Lens for X Series: 16-50mmF2.8-4.8

Fujifilm has announced the interchangeable lens 'Fujinon Lens XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR' for mirrorless X Series cameras. It is scheduled for release in June, with a suggested retail price of 121,000 yen (including tax).

The 'Fujinon Lens XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR' covers an angle of view equivalent to 24mm to 75mm in 35mm format and is the lightest zoom lens in the XF lens series, weighing approximately 240g. It adopts an inner zoom mechanism that maintains the lens length during zooming, enhancing portability and operability.

For focus drive, it features a linear motor that drives a small focus lens group using an inner focus method, achieving fast autofocus. The maximum shooting magnification at the telephoto end is 0.3x, with a minimum shooting distance of 24cm across the zoom range, and shooting is possible from as close as 15cm from the lens front.

Sealed at 13 locations, it features a dustproof, drip-proof, and cold-resistant structure down to -10°C. Designed for use in harsh environments, it provides high durability and reliability even under tough conditions such as outdoor shooting.

Additionally, it offers flexibility to accommodate a wide range of shooting scenes, making it a reliable partner for photographers.
