SmallRig Japan Co., Ltd. has announced the release of camera cages for the Leica SL3 and the Leica SL2/2-S. Pre-orders are now being accepted on the official website. The announcement date is March 11, 2024. The retail price is 33,090 JPY (tax included).
The camera cage, designed for mounting peripheral equipment for video production, is being introduced ahead of the March 16, 2024 launch of the Leica SL3. Simultaneously, camera cages for the slightly larger previous models, the Leica SL2 and Leica SL2-S, have also been released.
Camera Cage Offering Superior Versatility and Durability
Express your individuality with the interchangeable 12mm magnetic logo plate, and enjoy the standard-equipped magnetic SmallRig logo plate. Reinforced titanium alloy components significantly enhance the durability of the cage. The three-point locking system prevents camera twisting, while the silicone gasket protects against scratches.

Multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, and cold shoe mounts, as well as an Arca-Swiss compatible quick release plate, accommodate a wide range of shooting needs.
