stacked fruit stall in Seoul’s market under hanging lights

Jodi

"Searching for hope" — that was the thought that came to me when I came across this elderly fruit seller in Seoul’s Gwangjang market. The stacked fruits glow under the hanging light, while she sits in the shadow, almost submerged by everything she sells. She reminded me of our fading wet market culture, as most consumers have shifted toward modern grocery and dine-out options. It makes me wonder: will our cultural heritage slowly become obsolete? What's one thing you wish to keep alive when the world has quietly moved away from it?
