Since 2020, Rui has been active across a wide spectrum: winning awards in campaigns such as Mitsuya Cider and SNS photo contests, collaborating with various brands, and being featured in local media shoots. As a photographer engaged in diverse activities, she considers releasing the shutter a means to capture not only the invisible atmosphere of the moment but also its underlying emotions.
Recognizing the Brilliance in Everyday Life
Rui shares, “Since I picked up a camera, even the most ordinary days have started to shine.” Through the lens, she discovers the importance of finding beauty and happiness hidden within the everyday.

That is why Rui says, “I strive to capture the atmosphere, temperature, and even the emotions of each moment.” Her aim is to create photographs that, when revisited, evoke the feelings experienced at the time of shooting. She releases the shutter instinctively in moments that move her, visualizing the emotions she senses from her subjects.
