RICOH IMAGING COMPANY has released the latest firmware for the digital SLR cameras “PENTAX K-3 Mark III” and “PENTAX K-3 Mark III Monochrome.” The release date is March 14, 2024, and the version number is Ver.2.13.
Enhanced ImageSync Connectivity and Improved System Performance
The latest update addresses previous instability issues that occurred when using certain characters in the wireless LAN password while connecting with the ImageSync app on smartphones and tablets, resulting in improved reliability and performance.

Launched in April 2021, the “PENTAX K-3 Mark III” is a digital SLR camera equipped with a back-illuminated CMOS sensor of approximately 25.73 megapixels. In April 2023, the dedicated monochrome model “K-3 Mark III Monochrome” was introduced. With significant updates to the viewfinder, mirror drive mechanism, and image sensor, this camera was developed to embody PENTAX’s philosophy and to leverage the advantages of the APS-C format, aiming to be a long-lasting, beloved product.
