Open Call: Exhibit Your Photography as a Poster in Sapporo This October | Release #906

photo poster project is a photography exhibition you can join simply by selecting a city and date.

This project, which we call ppp, is more than just a photography exhibition. It is a community where everyone can share their story with confidence and an opportunity to connect with creators from around the world in person.

ppp is coming to &vogue gallery in Sapporo, Hokkaido, on Saturday, October 3!

Joining photo poster project, organized by cizucu, is easy.


(1) Select your preferred exhibition space and date

(2) Pay easily by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or another supported method

(3) Upload your artwork to cizucu and complete your submission


After that, all you need to do is come to the gallery. Many photographers from the local area will also be participating, so you may meet future friends and collaborators in photography.

※ Admission is free for visitors who are not exhibiting artists.

【Theme】
“Open Theme / Free Choice”
There is no prescribed theme. Portraiture, street photography, landscapes, and works in any other photographic genre are welcome. We look forward to seeing a photograph that feels distinctly yours—whether it holds a story you want to share or simply draws you in for reasons you cannot quite explain.

Please read the following information carefully before registering.

• The participation fee includes printing, installation, and gallery costs. Please note that the fee remains payable after payment has been completed, even if you do not submit an artwork or are absent on the day of the exhibition.
• Please submit an artwork that meets the following requirements:
  • File size requirements
    • (Recommended) At least 4,000 pixels on the short edge
    • (Required) At least 2,000 pixels on the short edge
  • Portrait orientation only
  • A single photograph only (collages, works with overlaid text, bordered works, and similar formats are not accepted)
• To help us create an exhibition that every participant will be glad to have joined, please be sure to read the community guidelines when making your submission.
• Photography will take place during the exhibition. Photographs documenting the exhibition may be published on our website, social media channels, advertisements, and other media.
• Participants who are present when the exhibition closes may take their photo poster home. We are unable to arrange shipping at a later date.

Q: How do I pay the participation fee?
A: After selecting your preferred exhibition space and date, you can pay by credit card or, depending on your device, through Apple Pay, Google Pay, or another supported method. Please note that payments are non-refundable. The participation fee also remains payable if you are absent on the day of the exhibition.

Q: Where can I submit my artwork?
A: Once payment of the participation fee is complete, you will either be redirected automatically to the submission page or can access it through the link provided by email.

Q: Can I take my poster home?
A: Yes. You may collect it if you are present at the gallery when the exhibition closes at 16:00. Please note that we do not offer shipping. You will also need to bring your own bag for carrying the poster home.

Q: Can I invite friends or acquaintances to see the exhibition?
A: Absolutely! Once you receive your participation confirmation email, we encourage you to share the exhibition details on social media and elsewhere.

Q: I heard that participants can have business cards made. How can I order them?
A: We will send further details by email once your participation has been confirmed.

Q: Can I register before deciding which photograph to exhibit?
A: Yes. Some sessions sell out before the deadline, so we recommend registering first and uploading your artwork by the submission deadline.
