cizucu hosts photo poster project exhibitions around the world. By simply posting photos on cizucu, photographers can take part in a photo poster exhibition and meet fellow photographers they have yet to encounter.
photo poster project is run together with volunteer staff members in different parts of the world. Each staff member brings their own background and thoughts to help create this space.
This time, we spoke with primmims, a creator who is part of the team and works as a staff member in the Bangkok area.
Could you tell us a little about yourself?
I am a university student majoring in Advertising and Brand Communication. I have always been interested in different forms of art, because I feel that each one offers a different way to understand and express emotions and memories.
I mainly take photos by honestly capturing everyday moments that I want to remember. For me, photography is like a “visual diary” that collects memories, people, and places that have felt important to me over time.
I first joined ppp in February 2026, and since then I have been involved as a staff member of the Bangkok team.
From your perspective as a staff member, what makes ppp unique?
I think its biggest appeal is that it is open to everyone. The exhibitors come from many different backgrounds, from professional photographers to people who simply enjoy photography as a hobby.
Because each person has a different way of approaching photography, everyone brings their own perspectives, experiences, and stories into the space. Connecting with people who are different from you in a real-life setting can change how you see things, introduce you to new ideas, and lead you to unexpected interests.
I think that open sense of connection is what makes ppp so special.
What has been the most rewarding part of being on the ppp team?
I feel glad to be part of ppp when I realize how many meaningful connections have grown from it. Through ppp, I have had opportunities to meet and get to know people from many different backgrounds, including fellow staff members, exhibitors, and visitors.
Photography often becomes the starting point for conversation, but many of those exchanges grow beyond photography into real friendships and connections.
Did you have any concerns before joining the team? How did your experience change once you took part?
Before becoming a staff member, I was quite nervous about talking to new people and joining gallery talks. Since I am not a professional photographer, I was worried that I might not have as much knowledge or experience as others.
But once I actually joined the event, I realized that visitors were more interested in the stories behind the photos than in technical knowledge about photography.
I was able to connect with people regardless of my level of experience.
What kind of person would be a good fit as a volunteer staff member?
I think someone who is open-minded and genuinely interested in connecting with people would be a good fit for the team. ppp brings together people with different backgrounds, perspectives, and stories. That is why being willing to listen, learn, and engage with others is the most important thing.
How has being involved with ppp changed the way you see photography and creative spaces?
Since getting involved with ppp, I have started paying more attention not only to the work itself, but also to the stories behind it.
Through conversations with exhibitors, visitors, and staff members, I have come to feel more deeply how each person’s experiences and perspectives are reflected in what they create. As a result, when I visit exhibitions or creative spaces, I have become more curious, more willing to ask questions, and more eager to learn from others.
What would you say to someone considering joining ppp as a staff member?
At first, I hesitated to become a ppp staff member because I did not have much experience and was worried about making mistakes.
But once I actually became part of the team, I realized that ppp is a community that is truly open to meeting and supporting people. I learned that if you have the courage to reach out to others with sincerity, that feeling often comes through.
Taking the first step may require a little courage. But I believe that one step can lead to meaningful conversations, new friendships, and irreplaceable experiences.
