At night, the contours of familiar scenes subtly shift.
Lights in windows you never noticed during the day, streetlights bleeding onto the pavement, shadows falling in quiet rooms, the distant glow of city buildings. The interplay of darkness and light creates negative space, atmosphere, and a hint of narrative within a photograph.
This month, we are launching a hashtag campaign with #night!
Night is more than just the absence of daylight.
A city emptied of people, the sky you glance up at on your way home, a small light lingering in a room, neon reflected on rain-soaked streets. The unique stillness and presence of light at night emerge in photographs with a depth distinct from the day.
Whether it’s a cityscape captured with a tripod, a spontaneous snapshot on your way home, the glow through a window, nighttime portraits, starry skies, the moon, convenience stores, vending machines, or shadows beneath streetlights—capture the ‘presence of night’ you find in everyday places.
