#white | Capturing the Winter World Through the Lens of White | Focus #599

Japan is a country of four seasons, each bringing its own unique traditions and seasonal delights.
We often associate specific colors with each season.

For winter, white—symbolized by snow—stands out most vividly.
As plants shed their vibrant leaves and flowers, the world loses much of its color. Then, snowfall transforms the landscape, creating a pristine, silvery-white world.

In this spirit, we are launching a hashtag campaign with #white!

The white world sculpted by snow may reveal new discoveries in familiar cityscapes.
Subjects with vivid colors become even more striking against a white backdrop.
And in snowy scenes, experimenting with monochrome photography can yield fascinating results.

We invite you to submit your own interpretations of #white!

During the hashtag feature period from Thursday, January 15 to Wednesday, January 21, 2026, we will select several works posted with #white and feature them in the cizucu Magazine. We look forward to your submissions.
