"Unsettled feelings" differ from clear emotions like "beautiful!" or "moved!"—they are subtle, personal fluctuations within, difficult to articulate, yet deeply resonant. This photo contest invites you to explore the theme of "unsettled feelings." A swing seen in an unfamiliar park, a soccer ball left on the field, cherry blossoms swirling at dusk—photographs taken in response to such personal sensations (subjectivity) make visible the layers of time. Sometimes, a single image transcends the photographer's perspective, intersecting with another's memories or experiences, sparking empathy and connection. The ONE FUKUOKA BLDG., newly opened by Nishi-Nippon Railroad, the organizer of this contest, is envisioned as a space where such unsettled feelings converge and new ideas are born.
