Mission
"Because it's there"—the famous words of British mountaineer George Mallory—capture the allure of mountains. We are captivated by mountains: we gaze at them, climb them, and photograph them. But what is it that draws us so deeply to mountains? The theme of this contest is "The Mystery of Mountains." Some may be moved by their grandeur, others enchanted by the diversity of life they harbor. Perhaps you find joy in discovering a new self through mountaineering. Capture and submit works that express the power inherent in mountains. We invite you to portray your unique relationship with mountains and unravel their mysteries through your lens.
