Mission
On March 19, 1839, Louis-Jacques-Mandé Daguerre invented the camera. For 185 years since, countless individuals have journeyed through life alongside their cameras. The theme of this contest is "Living with the Camera." Express the joy, inspiration, and moments of wonder you have discovered through a life with photography. Whether it is the beauty of nature, the smiles of people, the bustle of the city, or the bonds of family—there are no genre restrictions. This is also an opportunity to revisit photographs you have taken in the past, as well as to showcase your recent work. The reward for this contest is the Lomography Diana F+ Camera & Flash (medium format film camera)! As the cizucu community, we celebrate the birth of the camera and aim to share the joy of a life lived with photography. Additionally, as a participation benefit, we are running a campaign where you are guaranteed a reward for submitting 10 works. Please see the contest introduction magazine for details.
