The EOS 50D is an APS-C DSLR with a Canon EF mount, designed for intermediate users who value the shooting experience of an optical viewfinder and solid core performance. How to use · Paired with an EF-S standard zoom or a compact prime, it is easy to take along while making use of the APS-C 1.6× crop factor. It uses CF cards, so if you plan to use it alongside current gear, it is worth checking that you have the right media ready.

Watchouts · There is no in-body image stabilization. New features for live view and video are limited for its generation, and at approximately 730 g, it is somewhat substantial in weight. We could not confirm any explicit designation as dust- and splash-resistant.
