Mission

At NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO, located in Higashiyama, Kyoto, we curate creative and dramatic encounters through music, art, and gastronomy, inviting guests to discover deeper layers of Kyoto. With the concept of "MEET HOT KYOTO," our hotel showcases the most vibrant and current aspects of Kyoto throughout the entire property. This Open Call invites photographic submissions on the theme of "The Untold Charms of Kyoto." From lush natural landscapes and quietly nestled shrines in the city to welcoming shops that have left a lasting impression, we encourage you to capture and freely express the yet-unseen, captivating facets of Kyoto that you would be proud to share with others. Selected works will be exhibited at NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO, a space where diverse encounters unfold daily, from January 15 (Mon) to January 26 (Fri), 2024. In addition, three selected artists will receive a complimentary hotel stay voucher.
