Instead of waiting idly for my print at a café in Bras Basah Complex, I decided to bring my daughter Rey to a nearby camera shop to pick up a disposable camera for her. We wandered through the familiar corridors of Bras Basah Complex and out into the City Hall area, letting her photograph whatever caught her eye. When the photographs came back, I was surprised at how good they looked. Through them, I began to see the world from Rey’s perspective.
