Founded Story
SLOW ART CENTER NAGOYA was established in 2024 in the heart of Nagoya, in Sakae, aiming to create a community that fosters the well-being of individuals, localities, and the planet. We host projects and workshops in collaboration with artists and educational institutions, as well as curated exhibitions showcasing emerging artists.
Message for Visitors
SLOW ART LAB can be used for a wide range of rental purposes, including artwork presentations and exhibitions, film screenings, and venues for lectures, training, and workshops for about 20 people. Located on the second floor of the facility, the approximately 13-meter-long glass wall allows abundant natural light to pour in, offering a view of the grassy plaza below. The wall can accommodate artworks using tape, pins, or nails, and with movable walls, the space can be arranged according to your needs. Our staff, experienced in creating and exhibiting paintings and photographs, is available for any inquiries or concerns regarding exhibition methods.
