This photograph was taken at Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park, USA, at around 6:30 in the evening during golden hour. In the distance, three people sat quietly on the vast salt flats. Before them stood a mountain range, with the sun slowly descending behind it. Seeing this scene, I instinctively raised my camera and pressed the shutter. What moved me in that moment was the quiet power of nature, its scale, its stillness, and its beauty. Standing there, I felt how small we are in comparison, and how many of the worries we carry in daily life fade when placed against something so immense. Compared to the world, to nature, or even to the universe, those concerns suddenly feel insignificant.
