This photograph was taken on a final hike my best friend and I did before she went solo travelling to Australia. I’ve always loved how her hair changes in the sun, and I wanted to capture the moment before we got to the top. The memory is bittersweet as we were both on the floor laughing, and then ended the hike and said our goodbyes at home.
