This portrait was taken in Moscow 2022 during my first experiments with fashion portrait photography. At that time, I had just gained access to a studio, and the model and I simply played with light, without a clear plan or expectations. It was an attempt to capture a mood rather than create a specific image. The result was a photograph that remains one of my favorites to this day. There is a sense of silence and depth in it, as if the gaze comes from another time. The light gently draws the face out of the darkness, leaving a feeling of both fragility and inner strength.
