This is a portrait of my dog from a small archive of photographs I've never shared before. He passed away two years ago, but every time I see this image, I can't help but talk about him. He was incredibly photogenic, always seemed happy to model for my camera, and had a quiet way of comforting anyone who was having a difficult day.Out of all the photographs I have of him, this one remains my favorite because it reminds me of his warmth, gentleness, and the kind of love that never really leaves you.
