Amman, Jordan, is a city with many layers of time. It is scattered with ancient ruins integrated within contemporary buildings and daily life. This Roman Theatre dates back to the 2nd Century and it's amazing to see it being used by locals on the weekend. There aren't many places in the world where you are allowed to touch every stone, picnic, or even play street football within the ancient ruins. Sitting there, made me feel small amidst the vast timeline of mankind, and it made me wonder...what might our generation be leaving behind, that will remain standing 2000 years from now?
