I arrived at Kenninji Temple in Kyoto with less than an hour to explore. While wandering the halls, a beam of afternoon light revealed this quiet moment beneath the temple ceiling. I spent most of my time just observing the light as well as the ceiling art work. The couple just happened to step into the light beam which is when I knew I was about to capture something incredible.
