COSINA Co., Ltd. has announced the Voigtländer interchangeable lens, the 'NOKTON 50mm F1 Aspherical E-mount.' The release date is March 19, 2024, with a retail price of 262,000 yen (tax included).
Aspherical GA Lens Technology for Exceptional Clarity and Vivid Imagery
The 'NOKTON 50mm F1 Aspherical E-mount' is a full-frame compatible manual focus lens for Sony E-mount. With the addition of Canon RF, Nikon Z, and VM mounts already available on the market, the lineup now covers four mounts.
As the brightest F1 lens among Voigtländer's full-frame interchangeable lenses, it employs a GA (ground aspherical) lens element, achieving a refined and compact design.

Furthermore, the lens incorporates a floating mechanism that independently moves lens groups according to the shooting distance, delivering consistent image quality from the minimum focusing distance (0.45m) to infinity. With built-in image stabilization, the lens enables advanced photographic expression, such as capturing crisp nightscapes in low light and rendering smooth, flowing water with long exposures.
