FUJIFILM Corporation has released the latest firmware for its mirrorless camera, the GFX100 II. The firmware version is 2.0.0, announced on March 14, 2024.
The primary update is the addition of an equipment management feature to the "FUJIFILM XApp."
Easily Check Lifetime Shutter Count and Battery Health at a Glance
This update enables users to view information such as "lifetime shutter count," "mechanical shutter actuations," and "battery degradation." Additionally, it is now possible to check the number of days since the last sensor cleaning.
A new "Firmware Update" item has also been added to the setup menu. With this, users can insert a memory card containing the new firmware into the camera and update the firmware directly from "Basic Settings" in the setup menu.
Previous update methods (such as starting the camera while pressing the DISP/BACK button or updating via the application) remain available.
Minor bug fixes have also been implemented.
