With a wide-angle equivalent to 22mm (35mm format), the XCD 4/28P measures just 43.5 mm in length and weighs 245 g, making it the lightest and most compact lens in the Hasselblad X System lineup, and among the lightest in the medium format category. Its outstanding optical design delivers exceptional image quality and precise focusing, making it the ideal lens for capturing a wide range of compelling scenes, from natural landscapes to urban streetscapes and architectural photography.

The XCD 4/28P employs a linear stepping motor and a lightweight, compact focusing lens group. When paired with the PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) technology featured in the X2D 100C, the focusing group moves swiftly and stops precisely at the focus point. This ensures fast, accurate, and highly responsive focusing, allowing you to capture the decisive moment without delay.
The lens also boasts a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000s, with flash synchronization available at all shutter speeds. Even under intense sunlight, you can use flash to darken the background and make your subject stand out, enabling dynamic compositions.
