Founded Story
Nestled beside the Shimogamo Shrine and the Takano River in Kyoto, this serene and natural setting is where Whatever Wall Gallery began in 2024, aiming to be a place where art can be encountered in everyday life. The inspiration came from the desire to allow more people to experience art in a more accessible way. What makes this gallery unique is that it features exhibitions within a café space. Not only those who come specifically to view the artworks, but also those who stop by for a coffee or happen to pass by will naturally encounter the art.
