Founded Story
Hatori Photo Planning Room is an atelier gallery located in Asakusabashi, Tokyo, with the concept of "travel, mountains, books, and photography." Opened in July 2012, it was a dilapidated building that was 50 years old at the time, which the director renovated by himself. We aim to create a space for photo enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy and connect with photography.
Message for Visitors
At Shashin Kikaku-shitsu Hotori, we propose various enjoyable activities related to photography. We hold a variety of fun events, lessons, and workshops based on travel, mountains, books, and photography on an irregular basis. Anyone can participate in our photography open call exhibition. We also conduct workshops that help shape photography into tangible forms, such as photo books and photo goods. For those wishing to hold exhibition events, we also offer space for rent. Please come and visit us!
