Taipei mountains and wide blue sky beyond treetops

I've been taking photos as a serious hobbyist for fifteen years across three continents, and I've shot everything from landscape, portraits, products, to live concerts - from minimalist and serene scenes to high-energy performances brimming with light and movement - and I love all of it! For this exhibit, I decided to pick a photo that I took recently, one that sits toward the quieter end of the spectrum. The composition starts from the classic rule of thirds but pushes the envelope a bit, with a ratio closer to 80/20 than 67/33. The colors are slightly washed out to let the eye wander at its own pace rather than being captured by a single element. My goal was to display the richness of vistas in Taipei City: layers of land, mountains, and wide-open skies, as well as the city itself, hidden between the line of trees and the mountains.
