峠のりんご屋さん

今農業ワーホリ体験で岩手にいます。 その中の休憩中の1コマです。 大阪と違い大自然の中でりんごを一生懸命育てています。この辺りに住む方々が集まり手伝い、人の温かさに溢れた場所です。ここに来たことで、りんごの知識、初めてきた土地の良さ、たくさんのことを知りました。その中でもりんごに対してみんなが真剣に向き合い、毎日毎日作業をしています。私たちが食べるものはお金を払えば簡単に手に入るけど、なんでこんなに安いのだろうかと思ってしまうほど、育てることはとても難しく大変です。 ここに来てから、育てる側、農協さん（仲介）、消費者といったいろんな角度から考えるようになりました。また、将来農業をしたいと言う気持ちはより一層増す機会です。 これは農業ワーホリ（自治体補助）できています。こういった活動の認知度は低いため、この活動を経験した私だからこそ伝えられ、広められるそんな機会だと今回は考えています。 将来を考える大学生だからこそ、まずは日本でいつもと違う体験をしてみることで何か新しい扉が開くことを願っています。
