Egret reflected in a still pond in Kyoto Imperial Castle’s garden
Egret reflected in a still pond in Kyoto Imperial Castle’s garden

Sontag974

I’m visiting Japan for the third time this September and I was in Kyoto Imperial Castle’s garden when I saw this Egret standing still and reflected in the still pond water. To me this photo reflects how peaceful and traditional Kyoto feels like. I still have a few days here and then I’ll go climb Mount Fuji so I’ll enjoy Kyoto’s chill vibe as much as I can before facing this colossal mountain and it’s turbulent weather.
