この写真は、5年前の春、愛媛の地元で撮影したものです。友人の妹が中学校を卒業する日、満開の桜並木の下で、制服姿の彼女とその友人たちの門出を記念してシャッターを切りました。 春風に舞う花びらと、未来へ跳ねるように飛び跳ねる彼女たちの姿には、言葉にできない力がありました。希望、不安、友情、別れ、すべてがこの一枚に込められている気がしています。 この作品をきっかけに、「記憶に残る瞬間」をテーマに、日常や季節の移ろいを捉えた写真シリーズをこの大阪で展開していきたいと思っています。
