Xiaomi is set to release its latest flagship model, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, on March 18. This model features a camera system co-developed with Leica, boasting a 200MP telephoto camera as part of its quad-camera system, a first for the series.
The price is ¥179,800 (tax included) for the 16GB+512GB model and ¥199,800 (tax included) for the 16GB+1TB model.
Both models incorporate the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite, marking a significant performance upgrade.
Outstanding Camera Performance
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a quad-camera system with a 200MP telephoto camera. The 100mm focal length telephoto lens combines a 1/1.4-inch sensor with an F2.6 aperture, improving light reception by 136% over the previous model. The main camera uses a 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor, achieving a wide dynamic range of 14EV with the LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX lens with an open F1.63 aperture.
Additionally, it supports 4K 120fps recording, Dolby Vision, and 10-bit Log shooting, with both optical and electronic image stabilization, enabling professional-level photography and videography.
High-Performance Processor and Sleek Design
The chipset features the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite, significantly enhancing processing power. It supports a large 5,410mAh battery and 90W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting use. The display is a 6.73-inch WQHD+ (3,200×1,440) OLED (AMOLED) panel, featuring LTPO technology for a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz.
This allows for smooth and power-efficient display. The body is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, available in Silver Chrome, Black, and White.
Xiaomi 15: Triple-Camera System for Great Value
The triple-camera model, Xiaomi 15, includes a 50MP main camera within its system. It covers a focal length range of 14-120mm, with a Leica Summilux lens featuring an open F1.62 aperture for high-resolution shooting even in low light. Both the ultra-wide and telephoto cameras are 50MP, supporting versatile photography.
The chipset and OS are the same as the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, with a 5,240mAh battery and 90W fast charging. Available in Green, Black, White, and Liquid Silver. Purchasers by March 31 receive a Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro, and those from April 1 to 15 receive a Xiaomi Smart Band 9 as a bonus.
