The 'Chroma VND/PL Filter', born from collaboration with Peter McKinnon, features a single filter that provides both variable neutral density (ND) and polarizing (PL) effects.
Using 'Chroma Glass', the filter achieves unparalleled color accuracy. By combining two effects into one filter, it reduces vignetting when stacking filters. In addition to the basic ND/PL model, 'Chroma VND/PL Filter (Black Mist)' and 'Chroma VND/PL Filter (Gold Mist)' with added mist effects are also available.
The filter adopts a Bi-Rotational design, allowing independent rotation to adjust each effect, enhancing operability.
Meeting Professional Demands with Diverse Sizes and Innovative Features
The 'Chroma VND/PL Filter' series offers six sizes: 49mm, 67mm, 77mm, 82mm, 95mm, 95mm Coarse, and a total of seven types for Helix MagLock.
The 95mm Coarse is designed primarily for use with large-diameter lenses, including Canon RF28-70mm F2 L USM, Canon RF200-800mm F6.3-9 IS USM, Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS, Carl Zeiss Milvus 2.8/15, and Sigma 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports (Sony E-mount).
A separate thread base is required for attaching Helix MagLock filters. Each filter comes with a 'Defender360 Cap' for protection during transport. Additionally, a tactile feedback feature allows users to confirm the stop position of the variable ND, enhancing usability.
