FUJIFILM has released the latest firmware for the GFX interchangeable lens 'GF80mmF1.7 R WR'. Announced on June 27, 2024, the version number is 1.30.
Improved Focus Ring Usability
New firmware for the 'FUJIFILM GFX100 II' has been released, reducing lens drive vibration during focus ring operation, improving focus tracking, and optimizing rotation angle for video use. To enable this feature, update the firmware and change the setup menu's focus ring operation to linear.

The 'GF80mmF1.7 R WR' offers a focal length equivalent to 63mm in 35mm format, with a lens configuration of 12 elements in 9 groups, including aspherical and super ED lenses, enabling smooth bokeh and a three-dimensional rendering. It is dust and weather-resistant, capable of operating in low temperatures, and supports AF in low-light conditions down to -5.5EV, making it suitable for professional shooting environments.
