Kenko Tokina Co., Ltd. has announced a new carbon fiber tripod featuring improved operability. The scheduled release date is March 15, 2024. The retail price is ¥41,800 (tax included) for the “SLIK Light Carbon E83 II” and ¥42,900 (tax included) for the “SLIK Light Carbon E84 II.”
The new carbon tripod series is available in two models.
Key Component Upgrades
Major components have been updated, including a larger elevator lock knob for enhanced usability. The main body now features a built-in level and an accessory mounting screw hole (3/8-16UNC), while the legs utilize LCII carbon pipes to prevent slippage.

Features of the “SH-706 Head”
The specially designed “SH-706 Head” allows for fine adjustments with two handles. Its double-nut camera attachment system ensures secure camera mounting. The camera mounting plate can be moved forward and backward, making it easy to balance and preventing interference with the head.

Additionally, the lower part of the elevator is equipped with a screw for attaching a head or hook, and a tripod case is included.
