OM Digital Solutions Corporation has announced the Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lens “M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 150-600mm F5.0-6.3 IS.” The release date is set for Friday, March 15, 2024, with a suggested retail price of 550,000 yen (tax included).
Unprecedented Focal Range: 300mm to 2,400mm
Offers a 35mm equivalent focal length of 300mm to 1,200mm. Compatible with the manufacturer’s teleconverters, and when paired with the 2x “M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 2x Teleconverter MC-20,” it achieves an angle of view equivalent to a maximum focal length of 2,400mm in 35mm format.
This extended focal length is particularly powerful for photographing wildlife subjects such as birds, animals, and insects in their natural habitats.
Advanced Optical Design and Specialized Lens Elements
The lens construction consists of 25 elements in 15 groups, incorporating multiple special glass elements to thoroughly suppress various aberrations. This ensures high optical performance throughout the entire zoom range, delivering high-resolution and clear rendering.
Furthermore, the use of high-performance special elements such as Super ED and ED lenses significantly reduces chromatic aberration and other distortions, which are common issues in super-telephoto lenses.

Innovative ZERO Coating Technology and Image Stabilization
ZERO coating technology optimizes the lens surface, enhancing light transmission. As a result, ghosting and flare are greatly reduced even in backlit conditions, dramatically improving image clarity and rendering performance.
